Members will reach this through Biblical teaching on Saturday nights, study in cell groups, accountability and belonging to a church that preaches the Bible. As people are tought the Bible and built up in their faith, they will be more confident and excited to share it with non-Christians.
Increased unity as a body of christians on campus, by the individual cells meeting together once a week to be taught, to encourage each other, build friendships, and as a result reach more people on our campus and at our halls.
Each person will be helped to realise what they are passionate about and te gifts God has given to them, and then be given opportunity to use them. We will help people, through mentoring and teaching, work out what those paeeions and gifts are, and then provide information and possible avenues for people to go down which will allow them to use those abilities. When people realise they can offer something, they get a sense of purpose and belonging, which will mean there is a wider ownership of CU and everyone will feel more a part of it than if the committee and other people with leadership responsibilities seem to do everything for everyone.
"It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God’s people for the works of service, so that the body of christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of christ." -- Ephesians 4:11-13
Each CU member should hold us accountable for the following happening this year:
