For years now the CU have had a real presence in Freshers week, with a massive marquee right outside the union, and people randomly wondering in and out 24-7.
This year has been a great success. It started with vast numbers of students turning up in International Freshers week. It was a great chance to meet new people and the evening activities went superbly. The following week the marquee provided free refreshments and information for freshers, as well as a chance for new Christian students to find out more about the CU.
