Revelation is a Christian based rock-gospel choir, singing music ranging from pop to traditional gospel. Everyone is welcome regardless of religion or belief. All our teaching is done by ear so you don't have to read music or have any singing experience to come along! Our rehearsals are 7 - 9pm on Tuesdays at St. Michael's church in Headingley (opposite the Sky Rack). We also have a live band for our concerts so any musicians are very much welcome!
We aim to have two main concerts each year, one at the end of each semester - last year we performed in Tiger Tiger and Stylus. We also like to perform in churches around Leeds.
Revelation is a national organisation, with 14 different choirs up and down the country, plus two in the Czech Republic. One aim is to encourage people's talents to shine - you can simply come and sing, or you can get more involved by singing solo, teaching songs, conducting and loads of other things!
Each term we aim to have lots of different socials, ranging from going to the pub, to going to the theatre or concerts. There are several national events which involve weekends or weeks where all the choirs join together to work towards a big concert.
